Bloomberg Information has moved Maria Luiza Rabello to its Washington breaking information crew.
Rabello began reporting for Bloomberg in 2009 as a stringer, after having labored for Folha de Sao Paulo, Brazil’s greatest newspaper, and for 2 tv networks. She was employed 9 months later as a full-time reporter to cowl the Brazilian Congress and former president Lula’s administration.
Since then, Rabello has coated Brazil’s Finance Ministry, three presidential elections, one impeachment, a former president’s trial and arrest.
She grew to become a breaking information editor in 2014 and helped coordinate Brasilia’s stressed protection as deputy bureau chief from 2015 to 2019.
